Seriously, I thought you guys were my friends. All this time I’ve been wasting my life while I could have been looking at beautiful, shirtless photos of Zayn.

Rest assured, after seeing this snap she posted on Monday, I will never make the mistake of not following Gigi Hadid on any social media again.

Zayn Malik Is Releasing A Book And Twitter Is Roasting Him For It

Zayn Malik, I have some bad news for you: You are a celebrity.

Just check the topic page I tagged this article under. It says “Celebrity.” That’s why I’m writing about you. Because you are one. You’re a celebrity.

And yet, in a recent interview with Highsnobiety, a lifestyle website, Zayn said he avoids using the C-word.

(Huh? What? Oh, no, not that C-word. I’m sure Zayn doesn’t use that C-word either, though, if Gigi Hadid has anything to say about it.)

Anyways, Zayn said he doesn’t like the word “celebrity” because he doesn’t like the idea he is better than us normals.

He said,

I hate the word celebrity. I think it’s a dangerous road to go down, thinking of yourself as a celebrity, because then you somehow automatically think that label makes you superior to other people. Some people just want to hang around you because they know your name, so they think that means they know you, and I can see through that bullshit a mile off.

Zayn, I hate to break it to you, but denying this “celebrity” title isn’t going to make people any less fake.

And while it’s great you’re staying grounded in your fame and all, I would argue you are superior to other people.

I mean, Zayn Malik is 23 and he’s already been in an internationally popular boyband, broken up with said boyband, launched a solo career and dated a model.

I don’t know about you, but that life is far superior to mine.

Plus, he’s superhumanly beautiful. Look at that chiseled jawline.

(Also, Zayn, if you really do want people to stop calling you a celebrity, maybe stop doing so many profiles for so many different publications? Just a tip.)

Zayn also touched on the oppressive atmosphere of One Direction as one of the reasons he felt he had to leave.

He said,

We were literally meant to ask permission before we changed our hair or like, grew a beard. It was ridiculous.

Well, you’re certainly taking advantage of that beard freedom now, Zayn.

Zayn Shaved His Beard And We’re Not Sure Gigi Hadid Will Even Recognize Him

True or false: Pakistan is considered a Middle Eastern country.

If you answered true, be prepared to face the wrath of Twitter, much like Gigi Hadid.

In a recent interview, Gigi said her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, was “half Middle Eastern.”

She was speaking to Gulf News, an English language newspaper in the United Arab Emirates, about her own Arabic heritage — her father is Palestinian — when she said,

My boyfriend is also half Middle Eastern. It’s just a connection that you make that’s really cool. It’s hard to explain but you feel like you’re amongst [your] people.

The thing is, as Gulf News pointed out in the original article, Zayn is half Pakistani (and half British).

Technically, Pakistan is not considered to be part of the Middle Eastern region, though it does border Iran, which is considered a Middle Eastern country.

OK, so be honest. Did you know that? Because I didn’t.

Here’s a quick geography lesson for me, Gigi and anyone else out there who just realized this.

So technically, although Pakistan is a Muslim country, it is considered South Asia like India rather than “the Middle East,” like its neighboring West Asian countries.

However, Pakistan is considered part of the “Greater Middle East,” which is a political term coined during the second Bush administration to define primarily Muslim countries.

I think we can agree all of this is pretty confusing and pedantic, and also borders are mostly arbitrary and made up.

Personally, I think we should all be thanking Gigi Hadid for this opportunity to learn.

Gigi Hadid Got Zayn Malik’s Ethnicity Wrong, And Twitter Is Not Happy

If Zayn Malik thought he could avoid drama by quitting One Direction, he was sadly mistaken.

Of course, this one is kind of on him for dumping his ex-fiancée, Perrie Edwards, over text message.

At least, that’s what Perrie says happened anyway, in the new book from her girl group Little Mix, titled “Our World.”

Listen, I can sort of understand ending a three-month (or shorter) relationship via text message.

Especially if the dumper has a history of extreme anxiety, as we know Zayn does since he has cited anxiety as the reason for several show cancelations.

But Perrie and Zayn were engaged for two years. At that point, you really have to suck it up and at least buy your girl an ice cream cone before you dump her ass.

Interestingly enough, Little Mix’s newest single is called “Shout Out To My Ex” and features Perrie wishing Zayn’s new girlfriend “better sex” and hoping “she ain’t faking it” like Perrie did.

I mean, their names are Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik. Gigi and Zayn are literally some of the most exotic names I’ve ever heard. At the same time, those names are HOT. Don’t try to argue this because, then, you’d be lying.

Two young, successful (and gorgeous) people have exotic names to match the exotic, artsy road they traveled down to become who they are today. Can that be more perfect?

They’re both in the entertainment industry.

More often than not, it’s hard to find someone who understands your lifestyle, especially when you’re Gigi Hadid or Zayn Malik.

When you’re a celebrity and known around the world, keeping up with a relationship is nearly impossible. Luckily for Zayn and Gigi, it’s likely they both understand each other’s lifestyles better than anyone else. There’s no resentment when both parties need to be whisked away for performance obligations.

Whether Zayn is in the audience watching Gigi strut in sexy outfits or Gigi is fangirl-ing over Zayn’s newest single, they both look at each other in that “emoji with the huge hearts for eyes” kind of way. They are each other’s biggest fans.

They’re public and proud.

If anyone follows Zayn Malik on Instagram, then you’ll know he doesn’t have an excessive amount of photos. However, out of the few photos he chooses to post, he never lets Gigi’s pictures fall to the wayside.

Need I say more? This is huge. For being two of the most famous faces out there, having no cheating allegations during your relationship is a pretty big feat.

I mean, let’s be real. When we hear about a famous, good-looking couple cheating on each other, we tend to wonder, “Why?” However, it seems that Gigi and Zayn genuinely love each other’s company and feel no need to cheat.

Why Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid Are Literally The Prom King And Queen Of Gen-Y

Since leaving One Direction, Zayn Malik has not shied away from speaking honestly about his experiences with anxiety and depression.

Now, in his new book, titled “ZAYN,” he is also opening up about his experience with an eating disorder for the first time.

In an excerpt of the book obtained by The Sun, the 23-year-old singer wrote about how he would go days without eating back in 2014, a few months before he left One Direction.

Zayn wrote,

When I look back at images of myself from around November 2014, before the final tour, I can see how ill I was. Something I’ve never talked about in public before, but which I have come to terms with since leaving the band, is that I was suffering from an eating disorder.

While one common catalyst for an eating disorder such as anorexia is the desire to lose weight to be thin, Zayn explains it wasn’t like that for him.

He wrote,

It wasn’t as though I had any concerns about my weight or anything like that. I’d just go for days – sometimes two or three days straight – without eating anything at all. It got quite serious, although at the time I didn’t recognize it for what it was. I think it was about control. I didn’t feel like I had control over anything else in my life, but food was something I could control, so I did.

However, this didn’t make Zayn’s eating disorder any less severe. He said as a result of not eating, he lost an unhealthy amount of weight, writing,

I had lost so much weight I had become ill. The workload and the pace of life on the road put together with the pressures and strains of everything going on within the band had badly affected my eating habits.

The book, “ZAYN,” was released today, and is described on the website as a “photographic journey” of Zayn’s life, along with personal essays from Zayn.

Zayn himself described the book on his Instagram page as his “diary” and a way to “contextualize some of the moments and memories” fans have shared with him.

While Zayn describes himself in that Instagram post as “healthy” today, he has dealt with bouts of anxiety in the last year.

In September, the singer canceled his October 7 performance at the Autism Rocks Arena in Dubai due to “extreme anxiety,” which he explained in a statement apologizing to fans.

Earlier in the summer, he pulled out of a performance in Wembley Stadium in London only hours before he was supposed to take the stage.

Perhaps this photographic journey will give fans insight into those cancelations, as well.

For rich beautiful people, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is like OKCupid.

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have been going out for a while now.

Although the Hollywood power couple did have a small falling out that ended their relationship for like four hours at one point, they’re clearly in a good, healthy place.

According to an interview Zayn did with ES, Zayn actually (shocker) met Gigi at one of her Victoria’s Secret parties.

He asked her out after, and the rest is all history… beautiful, unattainable history.

(This, by the way, proves my theory that when beautiful rich people want to start dating all they do is show up to fashion shows, point at someone they like and say, “YOU. You’re with me now.)

Zayn told reporters that it’s much more than her body that he values, saying,

She’s a very intelligent woman. She knows how to carry herself. She’s quite classy and that. She’s not, like, arrogant in any way, she’s confident. She carries it well.

Zayn did bring up an interesting point about his weed consumption though, mentioning,

Weed is also a part of my life for certain things. I find it helps me be creative. Some people say it kills your ambition, some people say it destroys your personality. Personally I haven’t had any of them experiences yet.

Zayn Malik Gives Victoria’s Secret Credit For Helping Him Meet Gigi Hadid

I wanna know what love is… I want Gigi Hadid to show me.

Gigi is totally, completely and utterly in love with her boyfriend Zayn Malik.

Before the model heads off to co-host the American Music Awards next Sunday with Jay Pharoah, she sat with ET and gushed about her sweet baboo.

Malik will also be appearing at the American Music Awards as he was nominated for New Artist of the Year.

We don’t know if the couple, who met at a Victoria Secret party, will walk the red carpet together, but Hadid is obviously excited to support him!

Hadid said that before they met one another, they had never really been on a first date.

She sat down with the host to talk about her boyfriend’s music. After Zayn left 1D, he pursued his own solo career and had several successful tracks.

In the interview, Gigi pretty much said she was never a big fan of One Direction. She told Jimmy,

I grew up in a household that… my stepdad was a classical music producer – Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, so that was the music I was into.

ALL RIGHT, JUST WAIT FOR IT. Gigi continued by saying,

I think we can all name a One Direction song we love, but I love Zayn Malik solo a lot more.

Gigi Hadid Shades One Direction: ‘I Love Zayn Malik Solo A Lot More’

Aren’t Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just perfect?!

They’re one of the few celebrity couples out there still giving people hope that true love might actually exist — admit it.

I mean, when was the last time you heard about Gigi and Zayn feuding or dealing with any drama in their relationship? Yeah, just about NEVER.

As a matter of fact, Gigi and Zayn have done nothing but support each other’s dreams.

From sending each other sweet tweets before big defining moments in their careers to gushing over each other in exclusive interviews, these two make the whole relationship thing look like a real breeze.

In a recent interview with E! News, 21-year-old Gigi Hadid sits down to talk about the 2016 American Music Awards, which she’ll host alongside actor and comedian Jay Pharoah.

Tinashe and Jason Kennedy will host the red carpet. This isn’t the first time Gigi will host a major awards show. Back in June, the model hosted the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards.

Since that was her first time hosting such an event, Gigi plans to change up her game plan and use the lessons she learned back in June to help her crush the AMAs.

Gigi told E!,

I’ve watched the AMAs forever, so obviously it’s a huge honor and privilege to be able to do it. My first AMAs that I went to was in 2013. I remember I wore a Prabal Gurung suit and I was really excited about it. I was just glad that somebody took a picture of me, honestly, and knew who I was.

While this particular awards show is a HUGE deal for just about anyone in the music industry as well as their loyal fans, this show will be even more special to Gigi since boyfriend Zayn Malik is nominated for the New Artist of the Year category.

His competition includes The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes.

Good luck, Zayn! Although, you probably won’t need my best wishes. After all, Gigi has officially confirmed that she is voting for Zayn.

I am definitely voting for him… I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that as a host, but I am.

Well, there you have it, people. It’s time to go back to the drawing board and reestablish your #RelationshipGoals. These two lovebirds just keep raising the bar higher and higher.

Alright, Gigi, but like… you can at least admit this song is catchy as hell, and we’re talking all nine circles.

Little Mix’s new single “Shout Out to My Ex” might as well be called “Oh My Fucking God, Zayn, I Still Can’t Believe You Broke Up With Me Over Text After Four Years Of  Unconditional Love and Support. WTF, Seriously? Are You Serious? You CAN’T Be Serious.”

Zayn Malik’s current love, Gigi Hadid, is tired of his ex, Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, dragging her man through the mud and taking the model along for the ride.

One particular lyric in “SOTME” directly references Zayn and Gigi’s relationship while simultaneously emasculating the crap out of the “PILLOWTALK” singer.

If the radio edit wasn’t harsh enough, Perez Hilton reports an earlier draft of the song was even more vicious, reading,

YEEEEOUCH. OK. In Perrie’s defense, Zayn famously handled their split like a giant sentient butthole, just taking toxic dump after toxic dump on their memory.

Gigi, however, doesn’t deserve to get sucked into their stale turmoil, and boy does she know it.

A source told Perez,

Zayn has heard the original lyrics and was surprised with how harsh they were. He understands that Perrie is free to vent and write about whatever and whomever she wants, but obviously he isn’t a fan of the song… He’s been down playing it to Gigi, and telling her not to give it any energy or thought, and that it just comes from a place of jealousy. Gigi wishes Perrie would just move on and leave her and Zayn alone. She thinks the song and the lyrics are immature.

Everyone relax for a second. This is Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik. This isn’t John Lennon and Yoko Ono. This isn’t Tina and Ike Turner. This isn’t even Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

Perrie and Zayn’s feud, much like their music, is not meant to linger among music’s greatest legends for eternity.

This will all blow over in a few short weeks.

Zayn Malik, the 23-year-old One Direction dropout, won New Artist of the Year – and Gigi was ready to shower him with affection from the moment he accepted his award.

After Zayn gave his speech, Gigi patiently waited for her bae off-stage. When she saw him, it looked like they fell in love all over again.

Lately, the teasers for “Fifty Shades Darker” have been making a lot of people hot and bothered.

However, you can’t really blame people for going crazy for all of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey’s (Jamie Dornan) seductive scenes in the tantalizing movie trailer.

That’s right: Taylor and Zayn just released a song together for the “Fifty Shades Darker” soundtrack. It’s called “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” and it’s everything.

One Direction Fans Are Losing It Over Mashup Of Zayn’s And Louis’ New Songs

Ever wonder how those star-studded song collaborations actually come about?

These days, there’s a growing trend in musicians releasing new music with other big-name artists without prior notice.

The most recent track to cause a shake up in the music industry is Zayn Malik‘s latest song with Taylor Swift.

Both Malik and Swift collaborated on a sexy song titled “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” produced by Jack Antonoff.

The song was released last Friday without warning and fans went absolutely insane.

So, this leaves us to wonder… How exactly did this collaboration even come about in the first place?

Luckily for us, 23-year-old Zayn Malik appeared on “The Elvis Duran Show” on Tuesday to reveal what led to the surprise record’s release.

Malik revealed,

We were kind of in separate places when I mentioned the idea to her. I spoke to her on the phone, and she heard the song because [producer Jack Antonoff] had played it to her. So she really liked it, and she went in the studio the next day.

Well, it sounds like T-Swift was pretty easy to convince! To top it all off, the catchy pop track is a part of the forthcoming “Fifty Shades Darker” soundtrack.

Zayn Malik went on to reveal his gorgeous girlfriend Gigi Hadid had a little something to do with making the song happen, too.

The interesting thing was that [Taylor] is actually friends with Gi. So she already reached out because Jack had just played her the song anyway, just because we’d done it together and she really liked it and she’d mentioned to me that she liked the song. So I already kind of knew in the back of my head… I asked if she wanted to be on it and she was cool with it.

There you have it, folks. When you’re Zayn Malik, things just kind of happen for you. And just in case there’s any chance things might not go your way, your supermodel girlfriend will be there to save the day and support you.

One of the underrated things the “Fifty Shades” franchise does better than anything else is making unlikely songs and singers slow down to dangerously sultry speeds.

“Crazy in Love” is a cute song in its normal form. It’s kind of sexy and the message is nice, but it’s wayyyy too fast to be considered a FERK TUNE.

Slow it down and put it to footage of Dornan and Johnson straight-up boinking, and it becomes nothing short of auditory porn.

Miguel did a second cover of the song for the “Fifty Shades Darker” trailer, and it should be illegal to listen to if you’re under 21.
